Project MineX - Finding the peak across 80+ scenarios in parallel
NPV sensitivity across sulphide and oxide processing rates and CuEq cut-off grade. What is the optimal investment?
1
CHALLENGE
A copper project's economics depend on sulphide rate, oxide rate, cut-off grade and pricing scenarios simultaneously — change one parameter and the other two move with it. Most teams test options linearly, one at a time, and pick the best from a small set of scenarios.
2
WHAT BLUEPRINT DID
blueprint optimised all variables simultaneously — sulphide rates (7.5, 10, 12 Mtpa), oxide rates (0, 2, 3, 4 Mtpa) and CuEq cut-off (0.5%–0.8%) — solving 80+ scenarios in parallel to map the full Value Frontier.

OUTCOME
US$1890M Peak NPV
Peak NPV was identified at 10 Mtpa sulphide, 2 Mtpa oxide and 0.5% cut-off, creating the optimal case visible at a glance, with no wasted study or engineering costs on the wrong option.
